What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is help or supervision with daily tasks in your home to support independence and skill-building. SIL is the support provided, not the housing itself. It is commonly provided in shared living arrangements and can be funded when a participant has higher support needs.

Supports are delivered in line with participant goals and plan guidance. Funding depends on individual plans.
